Best day of my life without question! The experienced crew members were informative, entertaining and friendly, and the sharks were certainly putting on a show too. This is an experience I wouldn't want to have with any other company as Great White Shark Tours has set the bar so high!

Even though it was an incredibly long ride to the departure point the trip was worth it. Check to see if any killer whales have been sighted recently because if so...you will not see any great white sharks. We did see plenty of other sharks up to 12ft in length up close and personal. It was a bit difficult holding your breath while trying to submerge yourself to see the sharks but you dont have get diver certification also. Complimentary breakfast was included and the staff was very knowledgeable. Great experience overall!

Too routine. No great white which was the selling point. Not the best shark viewing. Definitely not value for money.

We came to the reception at 7:30 and were given breakfast, as well as safety instructions. We then went on the boat that could seat 40 passengers.
Unfortunately, we spent 1 and a half hours on waiting for a great white shark, but it was no where to be seen. However, it was the season of copper sharks, so everyone got to go in the cage and witness around 10 sharks. It was amazing overall, to see these beasts up close and there was no problem with refreshments and food on the boat as well. However, since the boat is staying n one place most of the time and the waver are big, many passengers got sea sick. Unfortunately, seasickness pills did not help.

Wonderful experience with this company. I had a round trip pickup/drop off from my hostel in Cape Town (they sent me a WhatsApp message the day before with the details). Very communicative. They provided breakfast before the boat takeoff, tea, coffee, snacks, lunch (sandwiches) on the boat, then hot soup and snacks after the trip. No need to bring any food/drinks unless you have strict dietary restrictions—and you can discuss that with them prior to the trip. We didn’t see great whites, but they were straightforward and honest with us prior to departure to give us realistic expectations, and I appreciated that. We saw many copper sharks and they also took us to the seal island (a friend did a tour with a different company and they didn’t do this, and her tour took longer and she wasn’t as impressed—hers had a fancier buffet style lunch but that contributed to the tour taking longer as the crew had to set it all up and cleanup etc., so I was happy with our simple help yourself as you go sandwich/fruit/chips lunch style so we could focus on the actual sharks). There is a videographer on board so you can purchase a video (or it might be included in your price if you book online). They provide wind/rain jackets, a towel, wetsuits and goggles. They had showers available at the reception after the boat ride. Highly recommended. My pickup was ~0530 (~3 hour drive) and we returned around 1600. The van will make gas station / restroom/ snack stops along the way.
