Description

Enjoy a tour around our farm where you are able to see and learn about the many different animals such as Caracal, Serval, Vultures and some of our plains game that roam around as well as Cheetah and Wild Dogs.

You will be welcomed by our knowledgeable guides at reception. Complimentary tea & coffee is available while you wait for your tour to begin.

We start off with a short educational video about the centre and the founder Ann Van Dyk.

After the video, you will meet our lovely lady Honey Badger - Amapajama, as well as our family of Meerkats. They will all most certainly leave a smile on your face.

We then depart for our tour around the farm where you are able to see and learn about the many different animals we have here such as, Caracal, Serval, Vultures and some of our plains game that roam around, Implala, Nyala and even our nosy ostrich Ben! To top this all you will have the opportunity to go through our Cheetah and Wild Dog drive through camps where you will be able to see them feed.

A king Cheetah is also on the list of animals you will have the opportunity of viewing :)

Each of our animals have their own unique story, let us share them with you.

To end off your tour take a stroll around our curio shop and find some interesting artifacts for you to take with you to remember your time shared with us.

We had an awesome experience. Super friendly and helpful staff. Our tour guide Jason made my day with all the information and stories he shared about each animal. This establishment does great rehabilitation work and is a must see. The cheetah run was quite remarkable as well.

The Ann van Dyk Cheetah Center provides an opportunity to view and learn more about cheetahs, wild (painted) dogs, vultures and other species under threat at their rescue, rehabilitation, and breeding center. Located a short drive north from Pretoria, a typical visit may include watching keepers exercise the cheetahs on a morning run, feeding rounds, and a tour of all animals currently in their care. Very reasonably priced, visitors will find immaculate grounds, a staff eager to educate, and well kept restroom facilities. Donations are encouraged and, unlike many other facilities claiming to be conservators, this is the real deal - this facility exists to serve the current and future well being of cheetahs and wild dogs. A "must see" if visiting the Pretoria area.

Fantastic place with amazing guides. Meet the cheetah ambassador and others. Take the guided tour of the various animals and the wild dogs. This place does incredible work in education and rescue. Not cheap but well worth it, especially knowing you are supporting a genuine organisation.
